Institute for nuclear science Vinča is organizing training about Biomass and Usage of Biomass in District Heating Systems on 30th and 31th of January.

Two-day training is organized within the EU Horizon 2020 Project KeepWarm – Improving the performance of inefficient district heating and cogeneration networks in East Europe, coordinated by GIZ. The project will support modernization of district heating systems to increase their energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Project provides direct services to a small number of district heating networks. Chosen systems in Serbia are DHS in Šabac, Nova Varoš, Bajina Bašta, Priboj, Pirot, Valjevo and Majdanpek. However, the tools used and capacities generated will be of interest to other district heating systems and operators in Serbia, with help of Toplana association witch is also beneficiary of this project.
