National biomass association SERBIO in cooperation with Public Investment Management Office of Republic of Serbia and GIZ DKTI project Development of a Sustainable Bioenergy Market in Serbia organized three trainings on woodchips supply in Belgrade. 

Trainings was organized for three groups of participants from towns and municipalities, which participate in project for installation of woodchips boilers in public buildings with financial support from Public Management Investment Office of Republic of Serbia. The First training was held on Monday, 8th of April, and trainees were representatives from Municipalities of Loznica, Mionica, Kosjerić, Osečina and Preševo. The second training was held on following day for the participants from Municipalities of Priboj, Arilje and Tutin. At the end, the last training was held on Wednesday, 10th of April, and trainees were representatives from Municipalities of Despotovac, Svilajnac, Kladovo, Surdulica and Lebane. During the training participants had opportunity to learn more about the benefits from wood chips and pellet utilization, as well as characteristics of biomass boilers and about proper ways of purchasing biomass.
