The programme “Development of a Sustainable Bioenergy Market in Serbia” (GIZ DKTI) is a bilateral programme between the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Republic of Germany. Its main political partner is the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia. The duration of the programme is nearly 5 years (from March 2013 until December 2017).

The DKTI Programme is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) under the German Climate Technology Initiative (DKTI).

It is implemented jointly by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (technical assistance module) and the KfW – Development Bank (financial assistance module).

This web page refers only to the technical assistance module of the DKTI programme. The KfW financial assistance module of the programme is focused on promotion of credit lines for modification or fuel switch of the selected district heating companies in Serbia from the traditional fuel to biofuel.
